ORDINANCE 2005-O-6D

(c) Discussion and Action on Ordinance 2005-O-6D declaring the intent of the City of Marble Falls to annex into the City Limits a 105.80 acre tract of land being 45.82 acres out of the Francis S. Earley Survey No. 15 Abstract No. 279, being a 38.07 acre tract of land out of the Mary W. Rhodes Survey No. 207 Abstract No. 781, and being a 59.98 acre tract of land out of the J.M. Roper Survey No. 1517, Abstract No. 1559, 547 feet east of Mustang Drive, adjacent to Mustang Drive and the southern City limit Line south of the land platted as Star Ranch Phase One. Director of Development Service Tim Dolan addressed Council. Mr. Dolan stated that this is the annexation petition and ordinance for intent to annex a 105.80 acre tract of land located 547 feet east of Mustang Drive, adjacent to Mustang Drive and to the southern City Limit Line south of the land platted as Star Ranch Phase One. Mayor Whitman read the caption of the ordinance.

Mayor Pro-Tem Weber made a motion to approve Ordinance 2005-O-6D. Councilmember Cribbs seconded the motion. The motion carried by a unanimous vote (6-0).

(d) Discussion and Action on Ordinance 2005-O-6E declaring the intent of the City of Marble Falls to annex into the City Limits a 255.94 acre tract of land out of the Mary W. Rhodes Survey, No. 207 Abstract No. 731, which property is located adjacent to the southern City Limits on the south side of the F.M. 1431 and north of Lake Marble Falls. Director of Development Service Tim Dolan addressed Council. Mr. Dolan stated that this is the annexation petition and ordinance for intent to annex a 255.94 acre tract of land located adjacent to the southern City Limits on the south side of FM 1431 and north of Lake Marble Falls.*   Mayor Whitman read the ordinance caption.

Councilmember Poage recused himself from voting stating he owns property within 200 feet of the subject property. Councilmember Mayor Pro-Tem Weber made a motion to approve Ordinance 2005-O-6E. Councilmember Cribbs seconded the motion. The motion carried by the following vote (5-0):

AYES: Mayor Whitman, Mayor Pro-Tem Weber and Councilmembers Neill, Cribbs and Rhodes

ABTAINING: Councilmember Poage

ORDINANCE 2005-O-6F

(e) Discussion and Action on Ordinance 2005-O-6F declaring the intent of the City of Marble Falls to annex into the City Limits a 166.41 acre tract of land out of the Phillip Dean Survey, No. 204, Abstract No. 249, which property is located adjacent to the eastern City Limits Line and North of Avenue U and Arbor Lane. Director of Development Service Tim Dolan addressed Council. Mr. Dolan stated that this is the annexation petition and ordinance for intent to annex a 166.41 acre tract of land located adjacent to the eastern City Limits line and north of Avenue and Arbor Lane. Mayor Whitman read the caption of the ordinance.

Mayor Pro-Tem Weber made a motion to approve Ordinance 2005-O-6F. Councilmember Poage seconded the motion. The motion carried by a unanimous vote (6-0).
